I know many of the A-series to A+ gearbox parts are different and not interchangable but are CWP's compatible (providing they match of course)? I can see the tooth profiles are different but the width of pinion seems to be the only other difference in the ones I've dug out, and I can't see this being an issue. It's many years since I've pulled a 'box apart and my memory's not what it used to be!

Whilst on the subject I'm looking to change my (non-A+) box to a 3.1, so if anyone's got one spare I'd be very interested smile Everything I've got seems to be between 3.4 and 3.7..

So long as the crown wheel and the pinion are a matched pair, then they will fit any box. All other geometries are the same (ie shaft sizes, bolt holes, etc.).

Thanks. Just need to find something 3.1 ish (or higher) now... They seemed to make 1000's of Mini City E's at the time, yet every 'box I've got from the past has a 3.4!!
