FRA Mini F/Glass shell any coments ?

Thanks Timelord, does anyone have any info about the FRA Mini, have been to the websight but first hand experience is always better. They say it's lighter, and they were developening bike engined version, any body seen it ?

FRA now being made in Ferryhill Co Durham. Previously it was built by a friend of mine that had "The Toy Shop" in Newcastle upon Tyne. Did alsorts of kit cars and rally stuff before selling up cos of ill health, He had the blue one and the white one with the blue strips and also the blue trailer. All of which you see in ads. etc. The blue one was reputedly very quick and agile with minimal engine tuning etc. Did a number of rallies in it with decent results. Never in either myself but they both looked well built and strong. Rekindled my interest in minis and sometimes when I am welding away covered in rust and crud I think I should have gone the FRA route instead.
The green one you sometimes see with the extra lights etc is a Honda engined one if I remember right.

Clive, if you do speak to them about the bike engined bits I'd be interested in what you find out...
