I use my mini loads due to the big factor. I work 50 miles away from home so my daily trek is mainly on motorways. I have a 3.44:1 in the car at the moment, which is really to short a ratio for the M'way even though i have 13's on it. I did plan to fit a 5 speed but i was told about issues with the quality of the units on high power/high torque motors.
I run a 1293, stage 4 head, SW5 ( swiftune ) cam, with twin HS6's. It goes like a train and pulls from idle to redline, this is why i dont have a problem with using a 2.9:1 final drive. who knows in 3 weeks i may change my mind again
