Whats this genuine Mayfair Worth
Discussion
A friend of mine is a butler of all things and he was instructed by the lady of the house to go and visit a friend of theirs to look at a mini for their 18 year old son.
The women selling it is absolutely minted but clueless and has valued it at £2k, based on the scrappage scheme value! Its a 1984 brown mayfair, 24K on the clock, but it is an automatic, body work is in excellent condition as its always been garaged, but the interior trim is a little worn. 3 lady owners from new. She was only driving 400 miles a year in it and the MOT people could believe it apparently.
What sort of value would you put on such an orginal car? My guess is to the right sort of person, ie someone whos gonna cherish it as a unmessed with classic, its gotta be worth a tidy sum.
