Cosmic Alloys

I have a set of four Cosmic alloys (only 3 pop-in centres though) that are kicking about my garage. I'm probably going to move them on via that well known (and hated) auction site but before I do, I thought I'd canvass opinion here as to whether I should refurb them or sell as is. If refurbed should they be painted or just lacquered? If painted what colour scheme?

They have virtually brand new tyres on them but they are quite old (circa 15 years) and have been stored flat and inside a heated building without any pressure in them. Any value perhaps? I'll dig out the brand etc and report back.

Not getting much money at the moment. Not really worth the hassle of doing them up, so someone else can have a bargain. Put them in the corner and sell them when the market picks up, or punt them out as they are.

I sold a set of four matching 6x10's that had only been blasted ready to refurb - they made over £200 and went to a guy in Italy!

Maybe I was just lucky but the 6" deep dish wheels are worth much more cos they do look cool as!

I guess I'm unlucky as mine are the 5J x 10 not 6J! Currently fitted with MABOR GENERAL Portugese tyres! Looks like they'll stay in the garage until I get round to cleaning them up then.
