Hello all,
quick question regarding paint and primer.
I'm just about to sandblast a load of components (subframes and suspension) and wondered about painting the bare metal.
I have some of that Moss Chassis black paint that's really good, but the question is should I apply it to the bare metal post blasting, or would you recommend that I used some kind of etch primer type stuff?
If so which one?
Any advice really appreciated.
Thanks all

i normally just slather it all in a thick coat of chassis black paint.

the odd chip wont kill the stuff.

if im spraying it with a rattle can i normally give it a coat of primer, just because the paint is so much thinner.

Hmmmm,
has anybody used that POR 15 stuff on bare metal?
It seems that you have to use "Metal Ready" prior to the application.
Has anybody any advice as to weather or not to bother with it and just use the original idea of Chassis Black Paint?
