10" REverse rims

hi does anybody know of a reasonalble set of 4.5 x 10 reverse rims to fit my 850 at a reasonable price, also do they fit within wheel arches on standard 1978 shell i see mixed results some seem to fit and others have arch extensions, cheers, tom.

They do fit with drums. They stick out a bit with discs. See if you can locate a set of 5" reverse rims. They fit as well and 165's sit nicer.

They are more rare, but are worth waiting for. They are more reverse than S rims (before anyone asks)

I had 5x10 reverse rims and 165 section yoko tyres on my '78 Mini 1000 with drum brakes. Went through the MOT fine including with 5mm spacers on the back as otherwise the inner edge of the tyre was extremely close to the shock absorber.

Bought mine off ebay but sold them about 6 months ago on theminiforum as I changed to disc brakes. Picture below of what they looked like on the car.

I would say 4.5" reverse rims on drum brakes fit ok in arches, although with disc's and rear spaced drums, wheel arch spats should be present.

I'll have a look in the garage for some, you looking to refurb or for mint ones?

not to worried about condition as long a straight and not heavily corroded they will be ok, can give a rub down and coat of paint myself, cheers, tom. PS they are to go on early drums n not discs in reply to othr posts.

Although with 145-section tyres instead of 165 you should be ok without spats, even with discs/spaced rear drums.

With standard drums, i.e. not the rear ones with the built-in spacer, the 4.5" x 10" reverse rims will fit under the arches without arch extensions, even with 165 section tyres.

It was only my opinion, as i don't like the look of them stuck out too far. Can't coment on 145's
