Genuine panels?
Discussion
Got a nice new front panel for Christmas and also a pair of A panels.I mentioned beforehand that I wanted genuine panels as I have had many a problem with pattern parts in the past.
The new parts are marked with an MG Rover sticker (bit plain and nothing like the old hologram Rover sticker). The front panel only has 2 spot lamp holes and no clearance for the front radiator, I thought the 4 spot lamp/front rad was the only genuine front panel available? and also I though Heritage owned all the tooling?
Are these indeed genuine or just pattern parts (quality isn't amazing) stickered up by MG Rover to fulfill their spare parts commitment (don't think they are too bothered as the Mini is not made anymore)
They were certainly Heritage money I gather!
Any ideas?
Cheers

P.S they were from Minispares who don't seem to be Heritage approved anymore

I was looking at a couple of complete Mini bodyshells, the Heritage items, and the quality is appalling. The shut lines are all over the place and if a bodyshop restored any shell for me to that standard I don't think I would want to pay them. Perhaps it's the same with the Heritage panels.
