Suspension Question
Discussion
Does anyone know what the standard rear wheel camber is? (if any), and does it change as the rear suspension is depressed ?
Also what is the Track width of the front and rear, I take it there are the same ? thats hub to hub, and if you fit 13" rims is there any adv/dis ?
Cheers in advance

Standard camber is slightly positive at both ends. As the rear suspension is a swing-arm the camber doesn't change through it's travel unless the arm is bent or the bearings are worn. The track is in any of the manual that I don't have to hand at the moment.
13" rims are both a blessing and a curse. On the up side they are fashionable, look pretty good, have a reasonable selection of tyres available now, and can improve grip if everything is set up right. On the down side they require bodywork modifications to fit properly, can cause handling problems if the suspension geometry isn't changed, are generally pretty heavy, can cause suspension and wheel bearing problems over time......
Check out Coop's article as advised, here's a link the IME if you want some futher reading : www.ime.org.uk/ime/s/suspension.html
