Engine 1460cc/or car-Mini
Discussion
Your talking big bucks for that engine and gear box.
Personally i would try and source parts and have them machined to fit (i.e block over bored and then fitted with the internals of your spec)
Problem i encounted when i was doing my mini cooper thing was a lot of engines built poorly but to a high spec, and then trashed. 1460 with a SC Jacknight box.... 3.5K starting price me thinks.....

The only reasons that a 1460 is in a car is fora) bragging rights on a display stand/concourse event
b) thrashed to within an inch of its life in the quest for ultimate speed out of an a series.
The 'a' options will either never come up for sale as the owner will keep them for life, or they are built to a price.
The 'b' options will be in need of a rebuild, or will have been rebuilt and priced accordingly
You are far better off saving your pennies and going to a respected engine builder so that you can have confidence in the engine. http://www.med-engineering.co.uk/home.php would be my first call.
