Hello there!

Im at the stage now where i need to get my wiring sorted but im not having much luck in sorting out an auto electrician to do the work, the local guys are either too busy or not capable of doing this type of work.

Wiring isnt my area of interest or expertise and so im looking at paying someone to visit my house and do the job.

Is anyone willing to take on this job? I dont mind paying the going rate for your time (or providing overnight accomodation too) but i'd like a proper job doing as the existing mini loom is a bit of a rats nest too.

Ive got a biggish garage (with power and a heater) so you wouldnt be working outside either and i would provide an endless supply of brews!

If anyone is interested, please get in touch. My email address is:- revingtosh@gmail.com

Hey Mike, would probably be a good idea to let us know where in the united kingdom you are as your profile doesn't give much away! You don't want someone from Cornwall if your up in Aberdeen!

To get your engine running you should only need to plug in the engine wiring to all the sensors and the ecu

Then connect the battery to the starter motor. In the vaux loom should be a red wire connected to the starter motor for the power supply

you need the starter solonoid from the mini loom

Then connect the fuel pump to the relay

make sure you connect the engine to body for a negative

Then you should be away

after that you need to connect the oil pressure light, rev counter and reverse light switch to the mini loom

I did this conversion last year and sold it on so i cant remember wire colours.

unfortunatly i work away alot so cant really offer my services. i will be home mid jan i live in stafford so may be able to help then i will keep an eye on this link
