I have at present completed the re-building of a 1300 metro engine all the goodies are in there, for the first Bank Hol in 2010 for Minis v Beetles at York drag way.
I cannot find any info on the original servo unit, the guy I bought the car from who has long since gone, 10 years ago and the unit seems to be from a cooper, the original engine was scrapped to be repace by said 1300 unit, it had discs fitted also.
Does any body out there have a picture of a modified system.
There was a metro one for sale on E bay, but I have just overhualed the full system so it is in pristine condition, that one seemed to have another valve sitting above the servo then onto the servo itself then thro non return into exhuast.

Cheers,

KENHIND.

Could you post a pic? Is it just the brake pipe connection you nead to know? If you want to save on weight you can run with out a servo (servos only mean you have to put less presser on the pedal to stop). A lot of the race minis run with out them.

Thanks Dan for reply I have now found out the vac pipe run and non return valve system for the completion of servo complete system, appreciate note on weight, this will be our next project so to speak, have seen a lot of carbon fibre sites but how far do you go, dont want to go down 16 valve engine route need to keep car as original as poss.

Cheers.
