forget about vtec... just wonder how's a twin turbo charged 7L chevy v8(1200bhp+), rear wheel drive mini feel like? more importantly how's sound? nothing can beat a chevy v8(not a old rover one)!

Any web links?

I know of a few chaps who have messed about with Rover V8's and Ford V6's but this sounds interesting.

The highest output LS-1 road engine I have heard of is bolted to an Ultima and thats only 1000bhp.

Hmmmn may have to re-assess again

Chap who runs GTD Developments has a Pick Up with a GT40 motor in the back.

In fact I am looking at a pic of it now...

Mental!

Is that the one that has been in Mini magazines a few years ago? Had red paint, and was crashed at some point and rebuilt? If so, I saw it at a show. Absolutlely jaw dropping.
