mini immobiliser

i bought a 95 spi about 3 months ago. i have been getting it ready for mot etc and to use in the winter as i put my sportspack away to keep the salt off it. the immobiliser has now kicked in and i do not have a remote for the car. i have never needed one before as the car has always started as it should. can some one help and advise how i can bypass this. many thanks kevin

you have three options

1) buy a new plip and take the car somewhere where the imobiliser can be coded to the new plip, a rover dealer or someone who has the software

2) buy a box from minimail which removes the imobiliser

3) you can cut some wires in the loom which disable the imobilser, but thats not really for discussion!
