Engine shipping

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has shipped a mini engine via Courier before? I'm trying to source a decent engine to bore out / rebuild but every one I find that fits the bill is too far away to collect. Is collecting my self the only way to do it?

Had an engine shipped to me straped to a pallet. Worked ok no damige. The only problem was unloading.

OT but what does an Mini engine/gearbox assembly weigh?

I think the new engine I had was 78kg (built engine only on pallet)
