What's it worth??

Hi. I'm out in Malaysia working just now and have came across a 1990 Mini. I'm not quite sure what model it is, but it's that burgundy metallic colour with a beige interior. It's lying outside a guy's house not far from the site I'm working at. I had one of the guys at work ask about it for me and the guy wants the equivalent of £40 for it!!! It's surrounded by long grass and looks like it's been lying for a while. The thing is, the shell seems absolutely mint, which must be due to the climate out here, as is the interior. It's showing 70,000 Km. Would this type of thing be worth the hassle of getting back to the U.K. bearing in mind that the cars out here are also RHD??? What would it be worth?? A good shell and interior has to be the best thing about it, as the mechanics can be fixed if need be fairly easily. Cheers!

Its always a bit hard to say but £300-£400? I would bet that any profit would go in shipping costs. Is there any market for parts over there?

Is that all!!?? I wasn't asking to make money on it, I wouldn't have minded a little project for the winter months. I'm gonna have a better look at the underside of it and enquire about shipping costs. It might just be worth it!!

As for a market fo parts? I don't think so. I've been working out here for a number of years on and off, and this is the only original style Mini I've ever seen!! And it's in an unfortunate state, surrounded by years of grass!!! Lol.
