Morning,

I have currently got Cobra classic low - backed bucket seats fitted to my car, but have been toying with the idea of fitting some Cobra Clubmans in (or similar), as I feel the current seats don't give me enough upper back support on long journeys.

These are the ones I'm thinking of:

With these Clubmans fitted can you still access the back easily? Or to put it another way, is it possible to carry passengers?

Thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Adam

they will tip forwards but the tops hit the roof, so thin people can wriggle through the gap.

'no fat chicks' is the answer i guess!

You have to be carfull fitting bucket seats, some wont work with normal seat belts becuse the side of the seat holds the belt forward of the person. It is very hard to get in the back with bucket seats. I think thay look good and nice to drive with.

i have black corbeau clubmans.
Bought direct from corbeau and are very comfy.
I built my own subframes using 25mm box mild steel and have both seats as low as i can (being 6'3" lol) and they are fixed to the floor too...solid as a rock smile

Got these in my mini and although they look really good, it pretty much stops most people from getting in the back. Thin blokes are ok but most girls, even skinny ones have problems getting in due to obvious reasons.
I've decided now that I may go the harness route and just do away with the rear.
