Blagged a half-leather interior in black off of eBay a while back and decided that as it was a nice sunny day yesterday to swap out the interiors.

The only trouble was I was in such a hurry to get the old one out that I didn't take much notice of the way the rear seat was fitted in.

Spent a good 20 mins fighting (and sweating like a pig in the heat) trying to get the seat in right (and get the seatbelts round it but although the base is in okay, the backrest still doesn't sit right.

So which should go in first, the base or the backrest?

Backrest first, don't forget to screw it in at the top inside the boot. Then base, and if you've still got the straps and screws they attach with the lower backrest on the rear seat pan/bulkhead.

Thanks for that Phil - got to take them out again now anyway as I've just aquired some new seatbelts for the little beastie!
