clutch or brake master cylinder bore
Is the bore of a clutch master cylinder completely different from the brake master cylinder? Someone gave me a spare tin pot clutch master cylinder to use for the brakes then it occured to me that the difference lies in the bore diameter.
according to Kieth Calver - bore diameters are the same but there is no internal return on a clutch cylinder hence this mod is a bit dodgy - sticky brakes = hot brakes = no brakes very quickly = accidents... i imagine
dont do it!
the brakes will stay on - very slightley, but enough to get a set of brakes glowing red hot..............
guess how i found out?
