998 cooper lump

Hi all - anybody got any realistic views on how much a complete 998 cooper engine / box/ remote / dizzy (correct) & carbs is worth? this is in standard bore - absolutely no ridging to bores - perfect! and tappets simililarly perfect - so no obvious cam wear - rebuilt in mid eighties by my dad for his ungrateful little toad of a son who purchased an Nova SR instead (woe is me!- fun though) car covered c3K before being laid up again & ultimately scrapped - since then the lump has moved house a couple of times but has been religiously dry stored, bores oiled & turned over on a socket once a month....
It has sat patiently waiting a suitable shell for over 20 years now - never going to happen so going to ebay it - any ideas as to worth / reserve????

Get it painted and polished and it will go for a fortune. Probably £250 as it is.

That's got to be £500 to £600 worth of kit, especially with a 12G295 head. It would be so easy to get c.75 bhp out of it and fit it to a nice shell. The 998 really is a smooth unit.
