Breakthrough Blackpool Mini Run 25th June 2006

The details for this years Blackpool Run have now been announced.
This year is the third year the event has been run, and the format is much the same as it was for last years very successful event. The event will take place on June 25th and there will be usual three starting points at Penrith, Skipton and Liverpool, which will then join up at Preston. The combined convoy will then set off from Preston (with police escort!) to the final destination of the new South Promenade in Blackpool, to join in with the Totally Transport event.
Entry is £5 per car, every penny of it going to charity. Last years event raised nearly £1500, and we're hoping to better that this year.
Each car registered will receive a free plaque to put on the front of their car courtesy of the generous guys at Mini Master www.minimaster.co.uk who will be supporting the event along with www.minievents.org
The event promises to be as good as last year if not better. Entries are strictly limited to 150 Minis so keep an eye on the www.minievents.org website for details of how to book your place. If you'd like to help out with marshalling the convoys on the day, the organisers would love to hear from you. Drop them a mail at blackpool-run-06@minievents.org
