1275 gt

hi i am going to look at an engine on sunday how can i tell if it is a 1275 gt thanks.

Oops, a bit late I suppose, but you can tell from the engine number:

Note that the 1275GT engine isn't particularly great. It's got a low power ouput for a 1275, and the internals aren't anything special. However, they did come mated to a close ratio box as used in the Cooper S.
