My 1966 Mk1 850 Super Deluxe is about to be back on the road following "major surgery".
Prior to this it was running on lead replacement fuel which is getting harder to find in our area.
Anyone have advice on addatives - or is it best to go down the unleaded head route.
Cheers.

I reckon the first additive should be dry suspension, if you haven't done it allready!

I'd look at www.tetraboost.com in my opinion a chemist, everything else is just pants.

My 66 is now running a hairy 1380 on 5.20 crossplies! Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

I used to use Castrol Valvemaster PLUS, (not the ordinary one) in my Caterham with 135bhp Scholar Crossflow Ford Engine. The car ran even better than it ever did with leaded fuel possibly because the PLUS gave an octane boost as well!
Only downside was it was a bit of a pain to measure out.

I also use Castrol Valvemaster PLUS in my 1293 Cooper 'S', it has 37 mm inlets and 11.2 :1 comp ratio. I do add a bit more than is recommended.
