Touring Scotland in a 1970 One owner Mini.
Discussion
There I was out on my round a few days ago (postbike) and came across a tidy mini on a trailer in Broadford.
Turned out they were from Billingham and were recreating holiday photos from the 70's. The car had belonged to the ladies father who had bought it new near Whitby (Castleton? I think). The family had holidayed on Skye a few times and she had loads of holiday photos of the times up here. When the time had come, he had passed the car onto his daughter who had had the car restored and was now touring the area with her husband & daughter, although they had forgone the idea of driving all the way up here in an 850.
Very tidy car and a lovely family too.
