I have a classic mini, 2000, with a retractable roof which concertinas when open. There appears to be a leak and it’s coming through the head lining. Would any be kind enough to tell me where the drains are located and the best way to clean them? Thanks

Speak to Somerfield Mini. They supplied a replacement vinyl (Webasto type) roof for my 2000 Mini Cooper Sport a few years back. They shrink over time and start to leak. It’s the same roof that was fitted to the Nissan Pao as they were very popular in the Japanese market. Don’t waste time trying to source parts from Hollandia.

I had the new vinyl fitted using the existing electric roof components and interior lining.

Check they're actually fitted, the late MPI's came with them fitted as an option from the factory, they were notorious for not attaching the drain pipes.
