My car is 1992 sprite, electronic spec is Standard apart from Halgon front light, and Mini trailer Reserve light to fog light. I dont run Radio. my fuse setup is 4 inline fuse box.

My car hazard doesnt work, direction signal doesnt work, Fuses is all ok but Direction signal fuse used to blow up before this problem begin. Hazard used to work when direction signal fuse blow up.

My brake light and heated rear screen is working good, rest of electric is working but just those 2.

So i dont know what the problem is, I checked all connection, switches. all seem be ok. Hazard light dont lit on. Its rhubarbing me off. Help me out!

Does anyone have this prob as those Hazard and direction signal fuse are not related. different circuit.

the flasher/hazard unit is shared on the 1988 (?) minis. its a black coloured relay. i would start with that. i have had one of these fill with water before and cause all sorts of mischief

Try taking off the fusebox and cleaning all of the contacts with emery paper until they are back to good metal; mine had corroded and I had similar problems to you. I cleaned them once and nothing changed, but had another more thorough go and theyve been fine since.

Ah, yes...

Good call.

This rings distant bells from long ago.

Thinking about it, I'm sure that I have had the same problem and this was the solution...

Cheers
