Why hasn't this car sold?

I'm tentatively looking for a Mini. I'd like a S but can't afford one, and I'd like a Mk1 but can't afford of those either.
This car looks nice, but it's been for sale for ages including going twice to auction and not selling.
It's at the top end price-wise compared to similar cars but it's not insanely out of the ballpark.
What am I missing please..?
Thanks
Jason

A good Mk2 is often much nicer to drive than an S, I've had two (both '69s) and used one of them as my daily transport for five years, nippy enough for a 998 but not too noisy like my Mk2 S which I've had for nearly ten years. If it were closer to £15k / £16k it would probably find a buyer.
This South African built '67 Mk1 has been for sale for a while too but is rather nice and I'd say is reasonably priced for its rarity - 1000cc engine from new and Innocenti / Australian style doors with wind up windows and opening quarterlights....

Is it my eyes or are the welds in pic 5 a bit wonky?
Yes, I spotted that. I may go and have look anyway...
As nice as it looks, I think it would look even better on a set of thick rimmed 5''x10'' Minilites or 5''x10'' Cosmics.
