Its an odd installation.

Uses the Cooper S supercharger doesnt it?

Carb ends up front left of the engine bay.

Minispeed do a supercharger kit as well...

It looked good - well on the carb one - not convinved worth the hassle on the injected later cars. But then I like carbs and must likley blower whine!

The blower has 64% adiabatic efficiency @0.5Bar which is crap compared to about 82% for the screw blower of Minisport. Worth it if you're going to spend a few £K.

His figures do the talking, I'm sure it's very good but the BINI blower is gigantic and Vmax Stu needs a Nobel prize for fitting it under the bonnet.

I've done a huge amount of work regarding my blow through setup regarding everything BUT it is worth throwing £2K or so at someone to do the work for you.

If you have any queries about how to do this yourself, give me a shout. I personally think from an ultimate point of view, the suck through is seriously limited, there are other blower options to consider. Anyway, you can get a good 130mph at 6000 rpm on 10" wheels running a Metro Auto FD.

NB:-Both of my minis have exploded engines at the moment.

Give me a shout if you're interested in the background and considerations of supercharged minis, I've got some properly good info.

M45 seals dissolve in petrol and suck through is a bad idea according to some UK Blower specialist. He could be lying though. Might be an idea to run this past Eaton.
