Can anyone tell me where I will find the Air Bypass valve on a 1998 mini cooper Mpi? Also what does it do?I have been told that this may cause the engine to stall or not even idle at all, the problem that the car has. I have worked on loads of minis but not injection ones. Any help on this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks

the idle air control valve (iacv ) is mounted on the inlet manifold nd operates a pintle valve in the throttle housing, if the indexin is out of range it can be adjusted by a ROVER dealer (lol) dont try nd adjust urself .
