my cay is pretty heavily modified, late cooper on 10s, roll cage, fully adjustable suspension, 1380, sccr box etc etc and ive always been insured with adrian flux for about £250.

Has anyone had any success with insuring modified cars anywhere else, and the main point, managed to save any money?

I am insured with Graham Sykes, they advertise in the Mini Mags. I think my insurance was £150 for a 96 Cooper with cage, 10in wheels, etc, etc. Mileage limit was 5K though.

I'm insured with HIC, mine is £513 which i think is reasonable as I am 25, and the car is valued at 15k.

Thats with all mods declared - KAD twin cam, stripped with a cage etc etc
