The guy mentioned by Neil and Rougeleo is Chris spennewyn. He is based in Hitchin and I can't recommend him too highly. The only problem is that he is a one-man-business and gets very booked up.
If you want to give him a call his number is 01462 711080.

Yes, you won't find anyone better than Chris (01462 711080 is correct). He is going to replace the damaged sills and rear valence on my 64 car shortly. 10 years of rallying have grit-blasted the sills away and gashing the rh sill on the remains of a dry-stone wall when I briefly left the road last year on the Illuminations Rally didn't help (whooooops)!
However, whatever you do, don't ask him to bodge it up for the MoT.
Go over and see him. His place is about a mile north of Hitchin on the Bedford Road. If you do arrange to see him one day, let me know and we can meet up to discuss your engine job if you still want that done.
All the best,
Peter

Cheers everyone!
Yes Peter that would be good but i think im going to revise the suspension set up first, maybe you could have a look at that for me instead??
If the engine is running OK at present it's probably best to get everything else right first. I'll be happy to discuss the suspension settings with you, just give me a call and we can meet up soon.
Peter
