Thank you! I wanted to compare it to my tube-frame mid-engine "Mini." www.kimini.com
Looking good!
Ive been following your progress on and off for over a year, glad you've nearly done it.
One thing I often think is that the only way I could make my car more fun would be to make it rear wheel drive so i'm sure you'll have a lot of fun in that!
FYI my mini, which is very heavily modified and totally stripped to make it lighter, is 1408lbs exactly with a full tank of fuel and all fluids.

it will depend on the year of manufacture as well
i.e early '59 super light, 59-60 lightweight, 60-61 semi lightweight, 61 on 'normal'
nothings ever easy!!!
My mate has an early 60's racer and it makes a different noise when you tap it than mine 66/67. that explains it. He's also got brass door hinges! (very posh!)
We weighed my '64 rally car at a test day a couple of years ago. With about 5 gallons of fuel on board, 2 spare wheels it was 718 KG. Clive King's similar car was 715 KG and Geoff Twiggs '65 car was 725 KG. Bear in mind that's in full rally trim with roll cage, sump guard, fire extinguishers and a tool kit, but with very little sound proofing and perspex windows.
