I am far from an original Mini expert, the BMW version is more my forte. What do people think of the o/s/f floor of this one in the picture?

Pictures have either been heavily shopped or paint is looking rather dull or it's a really bad ebay resto.
They are trying to chance on the mileage.
Someone may be daft enough to part with £22k for it, me personally, nah.
Not a massive fan of the MPI engine, while Mk1/2's are fetching strong money, they are much rarer and the age makes them more desirable, a late MPI that hasn't been driven (supposedly) adds £10-15K to the price doesn't appeal to me.
Not driving a car to save putting mileage on her is like not having sex with your partner to save them for the next person.

Yup, that is rotten and strong money as well.
It's not rotten at all, it's waxoyl that has been sprayed over the sillThat said the price is insane. It's not even a sport 500 or a John cooper conversion. Just a std car with low miles. It'll lose value like crazy as soon as you used it.
Get something more used and enjoy it, or buy something that is actually special (mk1/2 etc)
