I have a 1980 Mini 95. It's solid but the driver's floor has a hole in it.

The engine is a Swiftune 1430cc with Omega forged pistons, 1.5 roller rockers. MD286 scatter pattern cam and an HIF44 carb.

The brakes are KAD 4 pot with vented discs under 10" Revolution 4 spoke wheels.

There may be a 2nd gear synchro issue on the Metro Turbo gearbox.

What is it worth roughly?

hehe

Tired paint? Any other spec details/ Or pictures?

Pick-ups are commanding strong money, all Mini commercials for that matter...

I've had a look. It is tough one, because people are buying increasingly on body condition, due to the cost that is incurred to fix a classic mini body (properly). Unfortunatly (and I know it is wrong to judge a book by its cover), the mix of paint over the original pageant blue isnt doing the value any favours.

If the underside of your pick up is solid, gets some pics taken, it'll add value and ultimately probably sell it.

Thanks the ham fisted green paint work was just to preserve the bodywork.

It has to be worth a reasonable amount just because there aren't any others for sale or that many left.

Apologies for the thread bump, does anyone know the OP and can they contact him?

Tried through Pistonheads but his email is no longer valid.

Yep, thanks found it after I posted.

Chap is wanting to sell the pickup, mate is wanting to buy it, so contact made.

Asked for contact details, could we come and look at it etc.

His reply "its a bit too far from you"

So does he want to sell it or not? scratchchin
