Another mini for me!!
Discussion
Afternoon guys!!!
I'm a previous classic mini owner. I used to have a 1986 Mini Mayfair as my first car which ended up stoved into the side of a Merc back I 2006.
I'm now looking for a another. I've seen a couple of Coopers I would love an original S but funds don't stretch that far. I have also seen a couple Pick ups that I like the look of.
What are the residuals like these days? I have noticed the prices rise over the years so I'm guessing they are looking good. I'm not too bothered if mint or something that needs a tiny bit of work. If I go for a pickup it will get a bit of engine treatment twin carbs and headwork etc. I think if I got a cooper I will keep it original except for an LCB.
I will be buying for an investment sort of thing and using it for shows and polishing. What will be the better to go for these days?? A nice pick up or a cooper?? I'm off to look at a few next weekend so that will help me make my mind up.
