Mini Rust!

Hi guys.

My Austin Mini 1997 has gotten very rusty over the last 3 years. I've been told it's going to need new sills, side panels and windscreen. Also maybe a new floor.

I've been in touch with a guy who said the whole job would cost 1600/1700 euro. I was just wondering if this price is reasonable?

I would say that is so cheap that the current condition is not as bad as you think or he has underestimated what is involved in a restoration.

Does that price include all the necessary re-painting? If it does then it is very, very cheap. Caveat emptor!
