I can't read the "drop gears" thread

Heres the thread edited into plain text.
Evening, as many of you know I had a set of straight cut drop gears on my 998 engine which obviously I had to buy specifically, I was just wondering what the actual difference between a 1275 set and a 998 set is and if it is just the primary gear would I just be able to by a 1275 primary gear instead of another full set, cheers
Cooperman said - Are you sure you want SC drop gears. They are horrendously noisy and are really only any good when wearing a crash helmet. My 'S' is fitted with them and I always use ear plugs on the road, i.e. when not wearing a crash hat.
