Hello all

Thought id put up a few photos of my most recent purchase! 1988 Mayfair made to look like a 1960s Cooper - new paint, 10 inch wheel conversion, lowered suspension etc etc

Never owned a Mini and its totally different to my Mercedes W215 and R129 - very slow BUT handles like a dream; plus you can fix it without the need for a computer!!

Just need a bigger engine next!

Enjoy the pics!

Nice, not my colour, but nice.
What really makes me confused, apart from the beer and whisky, is the modern tyres on a made to look old car

Excuse my ignorance - not up on all these thing yet- but why are the tail lamps wrong? I dont want to retro fit the Mk1 lights as its too much work. The ones i have look the same as the mk 2 and 3 ones or is there a difference?

My mistake, the pictures makes them look larger than they are. The later reversing light version are even bigger! It takes a little work to fit the mk1 lamps but they are pretty.

Tyres look a bit suspect, too fat and weird tread pattern, are they of the ChingPong persuasion?
Otherwise car is very nice, any interior shots?

Ahah, hmm, they still look a bit weird on the Mini.
