Sell or keep, MOT or don't?
Discussion
In a bit a of a quandary here - my hearts not really in for keeping my car any more as I'm trying to save for the usual reason - first flat deposit! My MOT is due in a few days time and I'm pretty sure it'll fail, though to what degree I'm not sure (not driven her for 3 months)
Just wondering, what's the best approach here? Get it MOT'd then sell, or just sell without one? I'm not really sure of value...it's a 1988 Mini Mayfair with a stage one....I'll attach a couple of pics from a couple of years ago when I bought her to give people an idea, but it's in worse condition than the pics - basically front end is a getting rather bubbly, although when it was in the garage in the summer I had a look underneath and it looked pretty decent.
Anyway, enough waffle - any advice?
Thanks in advance as always

Just from a money view point. Take all the nice parts off wheels, mirrors etc move them on. Replace the parts with second hand standerd parts get an MOT and move the car on.
On the hole you normaly worth getting a new MOT but it is worth checking costs. TYhe only way to know will be put it in for the MOT and see what is wrong.
