Been advised by Jim at race engineering to put a solid centre clutch in my 1340, what's best and where are they available from? Thanks

Thanks, what's the difference between a 180mm plate and a 190mm obviously part from 10mm. What difference does it make?

Totally different clutch set-ups. 180mm is pre Verto. 190mm is Verto type clutch.

Again verto to non verto is the difference. Pre verto has no cush spring setup

early vertos where 180mm, they changed to 190mm in the early 1990s for the 1275 cars

you can fit 180mm plates to 190mm set ups but not the other way round as they can foul, or just run on the unworn faces of the flywheel.
