Ebay claims another victim. Some late night surfing led me to purchase a 20 year old Mini Cooper today. My first Mini smile

I never thought late night surfing could be that dangerous. I did something similar, bought a cooper on ebay two and half times older than yours and two and half times more trouble probably. Now in the third year of restoration. good luck and welcome to the fold.

Welcome aboard. Now: STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!
These little critters are addictive; a combination of Jim Beam & Ebay have seen me buy six of them in the last 12 months. I now have to stop myself from looking......
....perhaps one little look.....argggh I haven't got a van yet!

Hilarious. smile

Great to be in an old school motor again, properly connected with the outside world unlike the modern insulated motors I use the rest of the time.

Had it MOT'd today - couple of minor issues to be sorted but not at great cost which again makes a change from bigger, more complex cars.

It seems in good shape. It looks like it's had various bits of bodywork done over the years but currently it's only got a few very minor rusty bits so I'm happy with it. Biggest surprise is the engine actually - 41,000 miles and really lovely and smooth with a good idle.
