In a mad moment, I succumbed to buying my son a Mini 25 for his 18th birthday this year.

As always with such buys, you find the small problems only once you've got it home and really get "underneath the skin". One of things we have found (or rather not found) is the black flexy hose that runs underneath the front drivers side wing to bring the fresh air from the inlet by the grill to the fresh air vent inside the car.

We have searched around for a replacement, gone to the local scrappie, but cannot find one anywhere.

Can anyone suggest a good place to locate/purchase this part?
Thanks in advance

From one 25 owner to another hopefully this is what you're after

Part number EAM7437

http://www.minispares.com/product/Classic/Cooling_...

Shows as out of stock so might be worth giving them a ring as they're always helpful. Otherwise I'd suggest getting yourself to a local show as there's always spares available.

Always interested in 25's! smile Can we have some pictures? How original is it?

Here's ours

Out of stock hehe

Suggest getting yourself online here:-

www.the miniforum.com

They have a spares and accesories for sale section - this stuff pops up regularly or you can search. Failing that it is Fleabay or you could try Minimail in Gloucs as he holds stocks of good used spares...

Thanks all. Looking at the minispares website, it looks like I'll be needing the two seals at each of the hose as well smile

You could always use "motorsport" brake ducting cut to length and attach each end with 2 large jubilee clips.

I had a mini25 many years ago, god it was rotten!

the misery of the rot was improved a little when I found a £20 note in the little 'secret' zip up pocket at the front of the seat - a previous owners 'emergency petrol fund' I guess!

im afraid to say that I welded mini up and painted it white
