Any PH Mini Megajolt users?
Discussion
I'm running Megajolt in the XI. Only problem I had was initial setting up when I couldn't get the timing to change despite the cursor moving around the map. Turned out one of the resistors was wrong so everything worked as it should apart from the output signal being too weak to drive the EDIS. That was a bugger to find!

Top work. Any issues with the install - how easy was it to get fired up/mapped. Did you map it on rollers or use a generic supplied map?
Installation was easy, I turned down the crank pulley and fitted the 36/1 ring off a Sierra to it, then made a bracket to hold the sensor that mounts on the radiator bracket. I made up my own loom to suit the car.I'm running 45 Webers, so made a pipe that bridged both inlets, and put it thru a fuel filter to even out the pulses.
I fired it up with a basic map, of 10 degree everywhere, then went to a local hill, drove up it, increasing the advance until the engine pinked then turned it back a little, repeated this over and over at various revs/throttle opening.
Ken555 - Great info. Love the attitude to full load gnition tuning. Might need to find some big hills near me
You are running a Weber - I've deduced you may be running big duration camshaft off this. The MAP sensor kit is apparently OK up to a 276/286 profile (been told) - thereafter it is TPS territory. What camshaft and engine capacity are you running?
I'm still in the throws of deciding cam spec for the 1293cc engine build.

Wife and Brother inlaws minis both fitted Megajolt TPS, made a huge difference to both.
Brother in laws is a 1380 grass track build fitted with a HIF44 at present and the drivability is awesome now.
Simple to install, the brackets and the pickup are the worst part of the job. The live mapping is good fun and an excuse for a long drive with a mate.
One tip is remember carpet gets in the way when trying to get wide open throttle!!

MED engine, bored to 73.5mm with Omega pistons, 276 Kent cam, lightened flywheel, Stage 3 head with 36mm Inlet & 31mm Exhaust Valves. Weber DCOE 45 carburettorI'm still in the throws of deciding cam spec for the 1293cc engine build.
