An old friend of mine has the above but now wishes to sell it. Its a one owner car, from new and has 31K provable. Where is the best place to advertise it and would £3.5 be about right?

Its in great condition but at 96 she has to stop driving....

Could a mod edit the subject to read 1976, thanks...

1966 was a D reg, but 1976 was M/N.

Sorry typo. Yes it's a 1976. So the best place to sell would be? I wondered about an Auction?

Keep it, bring it back to factory spec then sell.

Pad, the car is totally original with a FSH (not all main dealer as she always had it serviced at a local indipendant) service history from new.

Garaged every day of its life, this is a great example for reasonable money..

Im making a real hash of this... I have spoken to the owner and can confirm it is an N reg which is 1996. Sorry for the f*%k up entirely my fault.

Does that make it worth more or less?

Anyway am hoping to get some pictures up so let me know your thoughts...

Would £3.5k be about right for this? Any ideas on fair value would be appreciated...

I think it would be hard to tell from a photo (not that would know anyway)
In the flesh and it's as good as you say it is, then yes around that mark.
Have a look at other ones that are for sale on here or AT, check out some classic mini forums might give you an idea.

1996, not 1976.

Prefix N is 96
