Hi all,

As can be seen on my link below, I'm selling an upgraded 1988 mini. I've had it off the road for a bit, as I've moved down South, and I'm finding it hard to find the right buyer. There's been lots of watchers on ebay when I had it up, but nobody has followed up. I am wondering if you could give me some friendly advice about the best way to find it's new owner - any better photos to include, or information to find out and provide. It's quite difficult as I can't just go outside the house and look at it! frown Good advice much appreciated.

Can I suggest a less blurred interior pic and redo the photos that make it look like its parked in a scrap yard. Also the chrome roof trim, push it back on, makes it look uncared for.
There's loads of minis for sale, mine included so you need to make it look like the best or best value.

Thanks for the suggestions... I've been out of town so haven't been able to take proper photos myself, but yeah I see your point!

Well, for me, it looks tatty. You need to sort the interior out, stick carpet back, give a good clean. Same for the engine bay. Should cost little except your time.

Presentation is so important

Possibly consider updating the engine size on the V5? Some people get really out of shape about that.

Unfortunately I'm out of town so can't really go to do any work on it myself, I'm relying on favours to get it looked after. I just updated the photos at the weekend which is a vast improvement on the ones before, so that is at least good.

The V5C is up to date, I'm not sure how soon it comes though to the online databases though.

Thanks,
Mark
