Any one who has a Cooper. Do your windows some time lower by about 2 inches when you switch the alarm off? It's happend a couple of times with Mrs GMan's but could'nt get it to do it at the dealers.

Also for some reason it's not due a service until 18000 miles??? She uses it on the motorway and has done 11000 mile in 6 months. The dealer reckons through it being motorway miles the intelligent engine management system? re-calibrates when the next service is needed. Glad it's a company car and not our own!!

When she picked it up the air-con did not work, an air-vent was jammed, interior light did not work and trim around handbrake was not fitted properly.

the windows should only do that when you open and shut the doors.

the dealer's right about the servicing, it calculates how hard you drive, and works out when a service is needed. Like the other BMW's just without the green > amber > red light system
