Has any of you has had any problem with the fuse box or fuse connections on the Minis? I have a 1996 Sidewalk SPi which is somehow failing on the fuse #11 (Fuel pump), the problem is that at some point after haven driven it for a short run vehicle stops due to lack of fuel. when I open the hood and check on the fuse, the fuse is either blown or it is just a bit out of place, enough not to make proper contact (which is part of the problem I guess...).

Do I have to replace the fuse connection? or may be worth looking at cleaning the fuel pump that may be the source of the problem? I have also changed from a 10A fuse to a 15A fuse as it kept blowing the 10A ones...

Many thanks!

Dont put bigger fuses in. It protects the loom and I have seen one melt. The fuse holder need replacing (there may be more than one problem. Some times you can get away with bending the socket pins in. I think it requires the fuse board to be rplcaed? (Not worked on newr minis). Not as bad as it sounds and not to much for the parts. If the fuse keeps going after this check the connection to the pump, if this is ok the pump will probably reqyuire replacing.
