Mini Fuel pump

Hi again,

Well, this time Im asking about the fuel pump, lately (twice this week) my mini (1996 Sidewalk) has been suffering of blowing the specific fuse of the fuel pump... that happened to me once a month ago when I ran out of petrol, but this week has happened twice and im wondering if due to that problem a month ago, something may have happened with the electronics of the fuel pump itself or if I am running low on petrol (fuel gauge is not working, one on my list to change soon...).

Anyone has any ideas on how to tackle this one?

try a new fuel filter first, just in case the old one is clogged.

if that doesn't help it will have to be a new pump

you can check the running pressures of the pump, but will require special tools
