Please recommend me a bodyshop!
Discussion
Hi all, can anyone recommend a bodyshop that's convenient for North London (I'm in Muswell Hill). Doesn't have to be inside the M25, but probs within a 45 minute drive time?
I'm just looking at having at least a front drivers side wing replaced, but probably looking at some other issues in various places so could end up needing a full respray once everythings sorted...
All the obvious details about price, quality of work, friendliness and honesty of staff would be very much appreciated.
Thank and regards

Hi unfortunately I'm nowhere near you so couldn't recommend anyone.
But I recommend going to a garage that either specialise or carry out work regularly as I took mine to an accident bodyshop as they carry out lots of welding etc and they completely bodged it luckily they only welded two panels and I got it out of there

I can recommend Palmer Brothers in Mottingham South East London and not far from M25. Just had my MPi all front panels replaced, doors re-skinned and rear valance replaced. Full respray and waxoyled all over.
They are top Mini peeps very friendly and genuine. Take a deep breath though as getting bodywork done 'properly' is not cheap. It's a choice between temporary refurbishment or proper restoration which will be cheaper long run if you intend to keep the car.
PM me if you would like more info.

There's a fella in Watford who I used several ago and did a stunning job, his speciality is actually custom choppers and he sends a lot of stuff to America.
I seem to have misplaced his details though, I'll dig them up. Something in a dark recess of my brain is saying "Mighty Minis" but I'm fairly sure that's wrong! Sandringham Road.
