Oil pump collapsed

A brand new oil pump collapsed after 10 minutes running at 2000rpm.
Anybody experienced the same problem?

Never experienced a failure like that. Where did you buy/source it from?

Minispares. Normal capacity pump.

The pump body bent and split under its own suction. I replaced the pump and now it runs ok.

Maybe I am the lucky one out of a million - at least I hope it is not a beging of a bad serie.
